Multipurpose Home Office
I’ve always needed a craft room combination home office work space, so I’ve had to come up with storage options that don’t take up too much space.
One thing I’ve learned is to go vertical with necessities.
Open shelves are great for a small space as they save on much needed desk space.
I’ve been eyeing this hanging file desk organizer to add to my office. I love the beautiful rose gold.
I’ve also used a spare closet as a craft closet with open shelves and affordable hanging closet organizers.
These would be perfect for office supplies as well.
Home Office Design Tips
With a few budget-friendly ideas, you can transform your spare room or living space into the perfect home office.
Start by finding a natural light area that won’t distract you while you work and can bring in natural vibes to the room.
Add an area rug to for pops of color and warmth.
You’ll also need a desk chair, preferably with comfortable padding. Did you see my favorite pink chair?
I found it at Hobby Lobby and LOVE it! Another way to add personality to your home office space is to include a gallery wall. Pick up thrift store frames to keep costs down.
Additionally, top off your space with a desk lamp and accent wall to give it flair and make it feel more inviting.
Finally, don’t forget to offset the look of the walls with white paint or wallpaper to brighten up the space.
Paint is the most cost-effective way to update any room.
With these simple yet chic elements in place, you will have your dream home office in no time!

So take a look at these home office ideas.
Hopefully, you will find some helpful design and styling tips without having to hire an interior designer.
I sure did!
